We met last Friday, August 19, at the facilities of the National Office of Industrial Property (NOIP) where the General Director, Dr. Salvador Ramos, presented the accountability of this institution within the period 2021-2022, where he stated, among other matters, technological improvements in its online platform “E-Serpi”.
E-Serpi is the virtual platform developed by the National Office for users to conduct their Industrial Property transactions in a 100% digital manner.
As part of the updates that have been implemented in recent days, are the renewals of trade names, the availability searches for trademarks and trade names, the submission of their Renewal Certificates, as well as the payments of annuities, publications and substantive examination fee for inventions.
With these improvements we put the country at the forefront of the digitalization era, improving and streamlining internal processes, services, and user responses, translating this into cost reductions (rates and expenses), availability through any location and at any time. Likewise, such as the reduction of paper and expendable material, directly influencing the reduction of the environmental impact and its care, one of the values that is in harmony with Miniño and that we encourage it to continue promoting.
