On May 18, 2022, the Plant Variety Office (@orevadosocial ) of the Dominican Republic delivered the first plant variety certificates. Various local and international authorities attended the activity, including the Minister of Agriculture of the Dominican Republic and of other Caribbean countries. MINIÑO, through Celeste Michel, collected the first titles in the Dominican Republic derived from international applications via UPOV PRISMA.
