Santo Domingo Welcomes the World’s Largest Intellectual Property Event Hosted by INTA!
We recently experienced the vibrant atmosphere of the first pre-cocktail event in the Caribbean for the International Trademark Association annual meeting. This cocktail, sponsored by INTA and Miniño, took place at Bottega Fratelli and brought together key players in the intellectual property sector of our country. Notable attendees included INTA members, leading law firms in the industry, as well as authorities, and other significant figures from the public and private sectors. Colleagues and INTA members from neighboring Haiti also joined the event.
During the gathering, our partner Urko Ochoa, who serves as Co-Chair of the 2024 annual meeting, shared insights into the latest developments of the meeting, as well as INTA’s strategy for 2024-2025, with a particular focus on our region. He encouraged all attendees to participate in the event and take advantage of the excellent academic and business opportunities it offers.
The event was a resounding success, and we hope it marks the beginning of many similar gatherings in our country.
INTA’s annual meeting will take place from May 18th to 22nd in Atlanta, Georgia, attracting over 10,000 professionals and companies from more than 135 countries, making it the largest and most important event in the sector.
