Pamela Hernández

Pamela Hernández joined the firm in 2012 as an Associate in the Intellectual Property Department of MINIÑO.

She is the coordinator of the IP litigation practice of the firm in the Dominican Republic. She handles most aspects of IP law and specializes in anti-counterfeiting, customs actions, and copyright infringement with a particular focus on satellite piracy. Her day to day work also includes trademark clearance, oppositions and cancellations, due diligence, and commercialization of Intellectual Property rights.

Together with a team of lawyers, paralegals and support staff, she handles the local portfolios of a number of multinational and local clients, who rely on her and the rest of the team to help protect and enforce their Intellectual Property rights in the country.

In addition to her experience and education gained in the Dominican Republic, Pamela obtained her LL.M in Madrid, Spain for International Business Law from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has a LL.B./J.D. from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) of Santo Domingo, in Dominican Republic.
